In 2000, Guy became a Police Officer on the Lake County Sheriffs Department in Indiana at the age of 21. Guy primarily worked in the city of Gary as a Patrolman and was assigned to all the aggressive Units or Operations. In 2003 he was re-assigned to the Lake County Drug Task Force (LCTDF) as an Undercover Narcotics Detective until 2005. During his sixteen year career, he worked in other Divisions on Units such as Gangs, SVU, and SWAT, becoming the youngest Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Commander on the Department. Unfortunately, in 2016 his career came to a dramatic and intoxicated end. Mental health issues, politics, manipulation by trusted superiors and department counselors, self medication, and self destructive behavior are something that most people can relate to in some way.
